I recorded this song to submit to a compilation album. I also thought it would be nice to release a single as I am getting ready announce the release date for a new album I've been working on for a while now. This isn't connected, this is a stand alone song, it also kind of functions as a follow up to the last thing I released because I don't agree with a lot of the emotional stances I took in those songs anymore. The stuff you hear is an acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, bowed electric guitar, ukulele, and tambourine/sleigh bells.

And I soon realized that I was wrong

About the courts and all of her crimes

That I'd give those kids a better life
But I think I'll let sleeping dogs lie

And I can't keep singing about these awful things
