This song is form my mothers perspective. When her and my father were married she used to think he was hiding microscopic speakers in vents and was playing "Dance with the Devil" to fuck with her head. She also would put recording devices onto the neighbors phone lines, and leave tape recorders in my fathers car.
She also used to think that my father would use his stereo to track her around town with her retainer. The only way she could block his transmissions was to constantly cycle through the AM radio stations as she drove. This once resulted in a car crash.
